Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Si se puede! Yes, you can. I tell my students that they can learn. Even though my students come to school with limited English they are able to learn both languages. My students are humble, sweet, caring, and helpful. These students share and help each other with whatever they can. They are attentive and appreciative for anything they receive from me. I love that they are humble. When I provide snacks they are always thankful even to any prize I give them. I love my students. My students live in Brownsville while some travel back and forth from Mexico to come to our school. Our campus is about half a mile from the border so my students come from a humble background. Though we live in a poor area my students do try their best to come to school prepared. They do take care of their limited supplies and are thankful when I bring my own school crayons to school. Since I grew up just like they did, I do try to give them new crayons or little prizes when I can. My students deserve a little something.

My Project

Help my Guardians explore the galaxies with this tablet. With the help of this tablet, my 19 English Language learners will be able to explore out of this world. They will use different apps like Seesaw, Flipgrid, ClassDojo, Brainpopjr, and so many more educational apps to enhance their learning. They will be able to compete with the universe to be successful learners. This will help them practice their reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. Help them reach for the stars and beyond the Milky way. Help them become the Guardians of the Galaxy!
