Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our science unit, we have been learning about parts of a plant and what plants need to grow. The class has been very fascinated with plants. To make the unit more hands on, it would be a great experience for the students to plant succulents in our planter boxes and take care of plants inside our classroom. Students will need to take care of them by watering them and giving them lots of love. Student will enjoy taking care of the plants and watching them grow.

Help give my students plants so they can concentrate, learn, grow, and thrive!

Having plants not only will transform our classroom environment, but help my students learn! The plants in this project will not only help to brighten up the look of our classroom, but students will also conduct independent research and read about what it takes to care of plants.

Students will learn about each plant's individual needs and will also be responsible for ensuring plants have adequate water and sun needed to thrive.
