Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are part of a special education program called Preschool for All Learners (PAL). They all present developmental delays but that does not delay their curiosity in learning. My students are lively little ones that are excited and anxious about new activities. They enjoy hands-on activities, books, music, technology, and dance.

My students are exceptional and providing them with the proper materials to reach milestones is one of my goals as a teacher.

They all have a variety of disabilities and they are all unique in their own way. My students help each other, are kind, and respectful. What makes this group so special is that they build each other up and we all learn from each other.

My Project

Preschoolers need to be exposed to more science and mathematics activities. Help these eager preschoolers be the next kid engineer by being exposed to building, math, and science with the use of manipulatives.

The next kid engineer needs the proper resources to explore and grow; and what a better way to provide them with hands on activities to spark their interest.

The building manipulatives help my preschoolers develop fine motor skills and creativity. These materials help expand their imaginations, help expand language skills, and expose them to math and science skills. All materials being considered for this project are related to their interest and beneficial for developing their academic goals.
