My Students
My science students are curious, creative, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they inspire me every day!
My students have enjoyed creating a Global Garden for our school community to enjoy.
We are in need of a few materials to continue learning together in September.
My Project
My students have been lucky enough to create a Global Garden for our School Community. It has given them the opportunity to grow together, share stories about their culture, while connecting to nature.
We are in need of garden gloves to keep safe, clipboards to record observations, and tulip bulbs to plant for the Spring.
Exploring the world around them has provided my students the opportunity to share family memories. "In Bangladesh, my grandfather taught us to grow rice for our family to eat." A classmate replies, "Wow, that's cool. We grow melons and turnips when we visit Morocco."
