This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my science classroom, scientists are always drawing and using paper or digital models to develop their ideas about a given topic. In recent months, my scientists have shown interest in doing more science-related activities outside of our class time. To encourage this curiosity, I have opened up my classroom during their lunch period.

"Lunch n' Learn" gives scientists the opportunity to not only use models but build them!

This hands-on experience of constructing models, independently or in pairs, is challenging and rewarding! With your support, we can supply STEM kits to even more students and cultivate their love for science, technology, engineering, and math!
