I teach kindergarten in a K-12 school with around 1,000 students. My room is filled each year with movers and thinkers. My students are amazing. They are becoming comfortable in our room and are really beginning to blossom in their learning.
I am thankful that every day I get the privilege of watching them learn and grow.
My students come from all different backgrounds. They love using technology but don’t always have access to it outside of school.
These students have the biggest hearts I have ever seen.
My Project
Each year my students get to learn about the life cycles of animals and how a plant grows. This year I want to step it up. I am requesting caterpillars so my students can watch the life cycle of a butterfly in their own classroom.
I am so excited to see their reaction as they get to witness a caterpillar change to a butterfly before their very eyes!
Since we are also going to be studying plants and what they need to grow, I am also requesting seed and soil. This is another way that the students can be hands-on in their learning!
