My Project

Whether it's a rainy fall day or not, we love to curl up with a nice book in fourth grade, and I love seeing how a passion for a book series of ignites their continued love of literature.

Students are building their reading stamina, and having a book that is motivating for them to read helps to develop their sustained focus in independent reading.

We need to restock some of our favorite titles in our classroom library. These selections were requested specifically by my fourth graders. They are eager to analyze how characters change over the course of the text and consider their motivations and challenges.
