This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My Kindergarten students are the brightest cookies in the bunch. They are so willing to do their work to the best of their ability and always wanting to learn more. I want to give my students the opportunity to extend their learning in science by planting plants with them this year.

My students will be able to learn all about the plant life cycle through the resources that are needed for this project (seeds, soil, gloves, a humidity dome, and books).

I love to do this project with my students in the Spring. This is a great way to introduce the new season and to have beautiful flowers ready to go home for Mother's Day!
