Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need grow trays, seed starter mix, towers and greenhouses to start seeds and plants for our garden.

My students love to cook delicious meals for their friends and classmates.

They are excited to try their hands at growing the food they will cook. Some have a passion for being chefs.

These tools lead to the tools they need in the classroom. The books we asked for are areas that the students asked for - composting, worm bins and even the beginners wanted a guide.

They love to show other people their favorite parts of their culture with food. It will be a community garden, and they will use the food to help their fellow classmates and people who have less than they do.

They are very excited to grow some of the vegetables and herbs that will go into the meals in the culinary class.
