Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in 5th grade are learning about their changing bodies and minds. Lots of times students are embarrassed to ask family members or are unsure what they need.

Having these supplies in the classroom helps me provide for items they may need at the moment to feel comfortable and get back to learning--items like deodorant, chapstick, or a brush can seem small but are so helpful.

Other items like baggies for our word sorts, batteries for our Tamagotchis and electronics, and magnetic clips to display our work in the hallways. These items help our classroom community flourish to be inviting. Students love displaying their work in different forms like brochures, posters, etc!
