My Project

I love my scholars' curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn through hands-on experiences. They thrive when given opportunities to explore, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning. These gardening resources will provide them with the chance to engage in real-world science by planting seeds, observing growth cycles, and understanding the importance of caring for living things. The grow lights, seed trays, and gardening tools will allow scholars to experiment with different conditions, aligning with NGSS 4-LS1-1, which focuses on how plants use their internal and external structures for survival and growth. This project will encourage responsibility, patience, and a deeper connection to nature.

Ms. Henry University of Chicago Charter School - Donoghue Grades 3-5

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
