Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Through these inclusive and social science books, I will deepen my understanding of mental health, sustainability, trauma-informed care, and community healing. I will apply this knowledge by creating a more supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where students feel seen, heard, and valued. By integrating these lessons into discussions, activities, and curriculum choices, I will help students develop critical thinking skills, empathy, and a greater understanding of the world around them. This project will allow me to grow professionally as an educator, ensuring my students benefit from a holistic, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approach to learning.
