Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your help and support, we will create and maintain a garden and pond habitat that will include a variety of plants, as well as a habitat for local wildlife. The space will not only beautify our school grounds but serve as an outdoor classroom where students can:

* Learn about plant biology, ecology, and the environment.

* Observe and document wildlife

* Understand the importance of biodiversity and conservation

* Practice sustainable gardening techniques

* Promote hands-on learning

By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase involvement for all students ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade, which will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement across all curriculums.

This pond habitat will serve as an outdoor classroom where students of diverse backgrounds and varying exceptionalities can engage in hands on-learning and develop a deeper appreciation for nature for years to come.

With your generous support, we can maintain this pond habitat and provide a unique engagement and inclusive learning experience for all students.
