Help me give my students a hands-on learning experience through the experimentation of growing various types of microgreens using different growing methods and mediums.
These materials (seeds, soil, and sprouting mediums) will provide my students with a hands-on learning experience, through the experimentation of growing various microgreen varieties, using different growing methods and materials. Students will learn about controls and variables, as well as design and implement their own experiments. Students will have to use their critical thinking and problem solving skills to ensure the validity of their results and comparison of measurements.
This project will address learning outcomes across a number of content areas, including science, math, social emotional learning, agriculture and more!
The best part is that students will be able to take home their microgreens, or share what is grown with other students and staff on campus!
