My Project

I would like to provide opportunities for my students to grow their ability to think and work with numbers during math workshop. Math workshop meets students at his/her individual levels to work on rigorous math standards that are presented to him/her in 4th grade. These items will provide options that are flexible, help with engagement in math, which in turn will result in higher-level understanding and mathematical success.

I teach 3 classes of mathematicians daily and while math is explored with joy and curiosity, tremendous support and practice is needed to help my students master basic skills, build fact fluency, and grow as mathematical thinkers.

The white boards will be vital for student participation during mini-lessons and to quickly assess student understanding and/or misconceptions.
