My Students

I Teach in East New York Brooklyn. My classroom culture reflects students from

different economic backgrounds, cultures and learning styles.

The majority of my class are ESL students. In my class, we are each other's brothers and sisters as well as motivational support. We love each other and want to see all reach the level we know we can. This year our theme is going for the goal and we plan to reach all the goals with set for 2017

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students lives by making the idea of reading fiction and non fiction books more enjoyable. A little appreciation goes a long way to students and my students give so much and try so hard even with the odds stakes against them. Reading in my class is such a struggle because our classroom library lacks text that draw my students interest as well interesting to them. These books will jump start the interest in reading because they will want to read these books that are in our classroom library. This would mean a lot to them
