My Project

Kindergarten is the beginning of a child's academic education. To help my students get off to a good start the materials that have been requested will provide them with a solid start to a great school year. The jumbo pencils will allow my students little hands learn the proper three prong grip used for pencil writing write. In addition to this it allows my students to write for a longer period of time. The folders will help my students to stay organized. A folder with pockets will allow for outgoing homework and completed homework as well has important papers. Folders are also used to show case celebrated accomplishments that have been collected for parents to enjoy during parent teacher meetings. The laminating sheets are to protect all certificates that are award to my students be it a certificate for knowing all their letters or student of the month awarded by the administration. The book bins will be used on student tables for students to read during our drop everything and read daily period.

The first goal of this project is to help my students learn how to hold a pencil the correct way and with time learn to write not a few words by sentences.

The second goal is to help them learn to become organized. They will learn that the folder is a tool that will help them keep their papers neat and readable and that they will be better able to find documents without having to dig into their backpacks.

My students are only beginning their academic journey and it is important that they learn the proper way to use materials and to keep documents in order. Now only will they appreciate the skills throughout their school career but into their adult lives. Thank you!
