Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My wonderful fourth grade students come to school, ready and eager to learn new and exciting things on a daily basis. Recently they have been learning all about ways they can help the environment. They have come to the conclusion that the more green we have around us, the cleaner the air we breathe will be.

By providing my students with some indoor plants as well as some plant food, they will learn to care for plants while making their classroom air cleaner.

The oxygen they breathe will be cleaner if we have plants in the classroom to help with the classroom environment as well as mood. The students will also learn responsibility as they learn to care for their classroom plants.
