This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in high school and dual enrollment chemistry need to have access to appropriate personal protective equipment including lab coats and analytical equipment for the complete of laboratory experiments. This project is intended to provide an easily accessible storage solution for lab coats for classes of 32 students and a sufficient number of analytical balances to be used in a timely manner for theses class sizes. Having access to this equipment will remove a barrier students from easily experiences scientific phenomena and scientific inquiry in the high school and dual enrollment setting.
