Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In order to ensure that I am able to provide my students with the necessary tools they need to be successful, I need to grow as a professional. I am constantly searching for professional development courses and workshops that can help me improve as a teacher. Many workshops and online courses require that you bring or have a laptop for the class. This laptop will help me take notes during my courses, keep track of lessons and assignments, and make it easier for me to stay organized with my work. My students will benefit by learning from the different teaching strategies that I will gain from attending the workshops. This will also benefit my students because I can use it to set up their i-Ready assignments and other online activities, which can help considering that outside the classroom, I don't have much access to a computer.
