My Students

My Pre-K students, their families, and school are as dynamic as the surrounding neighborhood. I love that my students are energetic, imaginative, and excited to come to school. I strive to continually make my classroom a place where my students can build confidence and learn through their own curiosity.

Pre-K is an exciting year where many of my students have their first school experiences.

I am lucky to be the one to introduce school life to them. Their enthusiasm and energy make me fall in love with school all over again!

My Project

Play workshop is a time in our daily schedule when the students have the opportunity to choose a center to explore independently or with peers. The block center is always very popular!

Block play is an essential part of our classroom.

Students use blocks to represent buildings around the city, roadways, homes, castles, zoos and more. Blocks encourage planning, self-expression, mathematics, and problem solving. Imagination and inspiration to grow their designs is endless. When the students constructs they are building on their learning and expanding their imagination.

This 6’ x 9’ rug will designate a large enough area for multiple children to play, construct and build together.
