My Project

The students will have different materials to choose from to keep them excited and engaged in learning, such as small notepads, colored erasable pens, animal erasers, and book bins. With the materials provided, the students will write stories, analyze and explain math problems, find and read books from bins, respond to literature in reading, post wonderings in science and social studies, and much more. They will learn to work in pairs and groups and develop social skills through interacting and problem solving together.

Some of the materials are for sensory stimulation and to help the students when they need to visit the calming corner.

The marble maze mats, balls, and stacking wooden rocks provide options for a child to use. The timers will help them keep track of their time and the floor seats will be placed in a quiet corner for the students to take a break when needed.

By implementing an engaging inquiry approach, my students will see themselves as authors, readers, mathematicians, scientists, and social scientists.
