My Students

The students of my classroom are a cohort of diverse, intelligent, and hardworking students from around the New York City Metropolitan area. Many of my students receive free lunch and free fare to school. Our school is a selective, public, college-preparatory school with a focus on science, math, and engineering that provides a challenging academic experience that prepares students for careers in science, math, and engineering.

My students are curious thinkers and eager to always learn.

As an educator, I hope to continue to help foster their learning and growth as inquisitive individuals!

My Project

This project will teach students how to create, run, and manage a small business. The goal is for students to learn about and grow plants that can be sold to help raise money for classroom funds. In order to accomplish this goal, students will learn about making a business plan in order to successfully grow and promote their business.

Students will learn about making investments, saving, and spending through this mini business.

They will also learn how successful businesses can makes money in order to spend on items that are fun and necessary for continuing a successful business (i.e. field trips, supplies they want for projects, and more plant materials).
