My Project

Help my students learn about the importance of gardening as we complete our reading and writing unit on the life cycle of plants by providing us with raised flower beds, gardening tools, seeds and gardening supplies. Students will be able to connect their learning in a real life application helping them to foster a love for the environment.

This gardening project will allow students to develop life skills, learning to care for other living things.

Patience as they wait for their flowers to grow. Team work as they work together to plant their garden. But most importantly city kids will learn to develop a love of the outdoors and the environment around them.
