My students all have different levels of learning, varying from K to 4th grade. They each have individual personalities and likes/dislikes, and are very motivated to work well when they have something they are working for. They need consistent breaks, and love to engage with toys, puzzles, or sensory items during these breaks. They also require very individualized assignments (such as laminated file folder activities with matching) that we make weekly. In order to create a safe and fun learning environment, I need some assistance with classroom items.
My Project
Each item was chosen with specific needs of students with severe behaviors or learning needs. I would use these items to create the individualized activities my students need to check progress of learning, as well as to assist their learning when I teach new topics to them. Some of the items will be used to motivate students to work, as many are finding it difficult to get back into the school schedule. Other items will allow me to have more resources to create activities for my students learning from home. (I send things home for them to keep).
All these things would enable me to give my students the tools they need in order to succeed both at home and in my classroom.
