My Project

My students have a deep curiosity and desire to make a positive difference. They come from diverse backgrounds and are passionate about helping others. By participating in "Grow & Give," they will have the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and into the community, where they can see the real-world impact of their efforts.

The goals of "Grow & Give" are to teach students the fundamentals of growing food sustainably using hydroponics, help them understand the importance of food equity, and empower them to actively contribute to their community by providing fresh produce to local families.

We aim to instill a sense of environmental stewardship, compassion for others, and practical life skills that will serve them in the future.

The requested materials will enable students to experience hands-on learning about sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and the impact of food equity. From growing their own food to delivering it to those in need, they will gain practical skills in gardening, teamwork, and community service. These tools will deepen their understanding of science, ecosystems, and social responsibility while fostering a connection to their local community.
