My Project
I am building my classroom library in order to instill a love of reading in my students. Historically, teachers have made students hate reading because we have always been obsessed with everyone reading the same book. I am hoping that by offering a wide array of choices, each student is able to find something that speaks to them.
These new books will help us form Literature Circles in our Philosophy of Literature class, so we can discuss complex philosophical questions through the lens of our chosen stories.
