Group Incentives for my Eager 3rd Graders

Help me give my students cleaning supplies, wireless mouse for laptops, and board games as classroom incentives. A laptop mouse will make CBT easier to navigate and board games enhance social skills problem solving, and encourage flexible thinking.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Offering Fun Fridays is a great way to end a long week of learning and provide positive reinforcement in the classroom for all to enjoy. My students also need additional cleaning supplies to help keep our room nice and tidy at the end of the week.

Rather than just offering free time on devices, I want to encourage my students to socialize over board games.

Board games provide children with several advantages. It will give them the opportunity to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, reinforce math concepts and word recognition, and encourage flexible thinking. Moreover, board games will enhance social skills and boost their self-esteem by encouraging cooperation, good sportsmanship, and the ability to effectively communicate with one another.

Having the incentive of Fun Fridays to look forward to will help keep students motivated to learn throughout the week. Positive incentives create a positive atmosphere in any classroom!

Also, providing each student with a wireless mouse will help them navigate tools and resources on laptops, and will help my students stay confident and motivated during computer based tests.
