My Students

My students enter the kindergarten classroom eager, anxious, and willing to learn. It is very important that each of them is met at his or her developmental level and is taught in a way that keeps them excited and engaged in learning.

These students are ready to become 21st century learners by learning cooperation and content through the tools of tomorrow!

Technology enables me to teach these students at a level that is appropriate for each of them and meets their unique needs.

My Project

My students love to play outside, but they desire some new toys to make their outdoor learning more fun. "Can we get some throwing toys?" said some. "Can we get some balancing toys?" said others!

What better way to bring gross motor development into my students' recess play than hopping balls, jumping sticks, and some brand new portable soccer nets.

This equipment will allow for students to be more active during their 15 minutes of recess time each day. It will also allow students opportunity to practice sportsmanship and sharing skills as they cooperate and play together. It will also provide us with a secure location to store our playground equipment.

The equipment desired by my students will certainly motivate them to be active, improving physical health and promoting a healthy life-style that allows students opportunities to engage in activities that are fun!
