My Students

Most of my students are developing English Language skills and are from diverse backgrounds. Most have recently come to this country from another country and are working on learning the language. All are motivated and eager to assimilate into the culture and strive for success.

Our school is located in Brooklyn.

We are a 6-12 school and we do not screen students. We invite all students with open arms and we work hard to provide all students with the resources they need.

My Project

My students are scientists! And the only way they will truly feel like scientists is if they are conducting experiments all the time about things that really matter.

Climate change is real and it is happening.

Today's students need to be made aware of the issues that the Earth is currently facing. In order to do this, students need to be able to work like scientists to investigate issues like greenhouse gases.

They will use these items to conduct a variety of experiments. The heat lamps will act as the sun and the balloons and baking soda will allow students to make carbon dioxide to be used in the lab.
