I work at a title one school. I am the fifth grade teacher and the Gifted and Talented Coordinator.
I am teaching green energy to students who live in the Silicon Valley. These are the students of the fast food workers, etc. so they have little to no technology at home, but they are full of potential and deserve the same rights as all of the other families around them. These technologies will benefit not only them but all students of our school.
These resources will be used to help the students understand green energy. This donation will pay for a physical science activity book that is full of experiments dealing with solar and alternative energy sources. Three different solar energy kits ranging from powering a house to powering solar cars. These kits will give the students hands on experience that is far more valuable then reading from a book about this subject. The next step will be to create proposals to help our country change to a more green environment to help stop the Global Warming Situation.
This donation will not only help my students, but my students will be the potential leaders of tomorrow. They will be the future leaders that our nation will need in handling the problems of tomorrow.
