My students need printmaking supplies in order to create environmental justice themed green-ink prints!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A Native American proverbs says " We do not inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." This could not be more true, then with our current climate and environmental concerns of today!
Through art, my students can learn and grow from an environmentally themed printmaking lesson!
Though the very environment that they live in does not always promote eco-justice, through education and art making my students will be the agents of change!
My Project
I carefully selected the printing supplies to reflect, not only, the art of printmaking, but the very content it intents to exhibit! Therefore, my materials list intensionally included "eco" printing plates and water soluble green wood printing ink, as well as, the necessary (and most affordable) carving tools and brayers or rubber rollers. Once the students complete their environmental justice inspired and designed prints, they, too, will help bring awareness to this global cause.
I thank you in advance for being an advocate of the arts and our environment!
Let art continue to teach us about our eco-conscious community and the world around us, as our future generations will exemplify it!
