Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of curiosity and innovation. They love to explore with different things such as with technology tools which make learning more interactive, engaging, and fun!

A large percentage of my students do not have technology devices at home or in school to be able to work with assignments and projects on Google Classroom.

I have many students who live in Temporary Housing. My school is a Title 1 school with more than 95% free lunch.

My Project

Many of my students do not have the necessary technology at home. They are currently using iPhones or Androids to view the class assignments and the screen is too small and very hard to navigate and type in. There are students who do not have any technology at all.

My students will be working in a blended in school and remote home environment.

Teachers will post assignments and projects on google classroom and other platforms. They will use the chromebooks to access Epic Reading, Assistment Math, and iReady ELA and Math.
