I love that my students stand out and learn in their own unique ways. Although they have identified disabilities, it does not stop them from learning.
I am requesting a writing slant board, an All About Letters pocket chart, a real-working cash register, Place Value write wipe boards, and more items for classroom use.
These materials will help my students learn new math skills such as making change with money, using a calculator during math block for addition, and will also assist them with sensory materials that will aid them during an emotional need. There are also materials that will assist my students who have a delay in their fine motor skills. I hope my project gets fully funded in order for my students to be able to meet their academic and functional needs!
