My Students

The students at my school come from a variety of backgrounds, and have a variety of interests. However, they all love earning G-House Bucks! G-House Bucks is a school currency designed to promote good grades, behavior, and citizenship among students.

As a member of my schools Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) team, I see first-hand the enormous impact this system has made on our school's culture.

Students eagerly work to earn their G-House Bucks in order to redeem them for school trips, movie tickets, gift cards, and items from the school store.

My Project

I am requesting these board games to help establish a PBIS game room where students can redeem their G-House Bucks and spend some time with their friends playing games.

These games, such as Catan, Exploding Kittens and Risk, will help to further the mission of the PBIS team by both encouraging students to demonstrate positive behaviors and enabling them to apply real-world skills like cooperation, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication while playing these games.

These games will provide students with a feeling of accomplishment for having earned the required G-House Bucks to enter the game room, which will give further incentive to earn more Bucks.

Most importantly these games will let our students have fun!
