This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The Great Flood 2016 is a big challenge for Baton Rouge community. We lost our school and we need to share a site with a middle school. Our instructional materials, books, journals, everything are all gone.
This is hard, this is difficult, this is challenging, but all we know is WE WILL RISE AGAIN!
We people of Louisiana are resilient. We will not stop educating our children. We will not be discouraged. We will keep going on...Focus for the future of Great America.
My Project
The Great Flood of 2016 was a devastation to the lives of our community. Our community as well as school personnel lost homes, cars, clothing, and to make it short....EVERYTHING! The flood which is 4 feet or more deep buried everything. This tragedy does not mean we will not survive. We will work harder...together...
My students need new Chromebooks to learn.
The Great Flood will not hinder us to educate and make the future of our generation GREAT again! Our students' dream were not buried, were not gone. We are resilient people. We will RISE AGAIN.
