My Students

My students are motivated, hard-working, and they truly want to succeed in school. Not only do their parents value education, but they see the great value in it too.

Our school has so much spirit.

Our students look forward to coming to school everyday because the staff and student body make it such a wonderful place to be.

We live in an awesome community that gives so much support to make sure our students are working to their full potential.

My Project

In the age of social media and streaming TV, it's become harder and harder to get my students to read OUTSIDE of school.

If I can have a classroom library that is filled with engaging books, I will have a better chance at pulling my students into the wonderful world of reading!

For reluctant readers, a classroom library with interesting books in all genres is especially important because they will not go to the school or public library or ask for recommendations from family members. They need super easy access to great books, and I want to provide that for them in my classroom.
