Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a great group of 10th grade Algebra 1 students who are eager to do their best in my class. I am requesting graphing notebooks for all of my Algebra 1 students. The Algebra 1 curriculum requires us to teach numerous topics over the span of 10 months. Naturally, many students will forget some of the material that is taught. But, having a sturdy graphing notebook greatly aids in helping students keep their notes, work and thoughts organized all in one place.

Notebooks will allow students to continue succeeding in their math courses once they move on from Algebra 1.

After Algebra 1, students will take 7 weeks of for summer break before they return to school. Once in Algebra 2 students will need to remember what they learned in Algebra 1. Luckily, having their notebooks will aid in remembering any learning forgotten during their summer break.
