Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are responsible, respectful, kind, hardworking, and independent mathematicians. They work hard and persevere every day to overcome any challenges they may be facing. My high school students attend a Title I school, meaning the majority of them come from low income households.

My Project

My students are constantly taking notes in our math class. These notes help them better process the material and they serve as a reference when they are studying for upcoming tests. My students use their notes to deepen their understanding and master the mathematical content.

Graph paper notebooks allow students to take neat and organized notes as they help them draw accurate graphs, and precise figures.

Most of my students do not have access to graphing notebooks and other essential classroom materials as they come from low income households. My students will greatly benefit from having these notebooks as part of their materials as they will have the appropriate resource to take their math notes.

My goal is that all my students have a notebook where they can find all the lessons we have covered in class so they can master the material as they improve their mathematical skills.
