My Project

Do you remember having to pull out book after book after book in the library to find just what you were looking for? Now they make GRAPHIC DIVIDERS with letters and colorful pictures to assist students while looking for the perfect book.

My students are avid readers who live in different neighborhoods scattered around our urban city in Tennessee.

They come from a variety of diverse families. Our Title One public elementary school is Pre-K through 5 located in the heart of our city. Library time is one of their favorite support classes. They love finding a book that is just right for them. This helps them engage in reading and want to read more and more books.

These GRAPHIC DIVIDERS will be used in the picture book section of our library. They are solid black with bright colored letters and coordinating illustrations. They will divide the picture books and show students where each alphabetized section begins. They will stick out about two inches so the students can visually locate each section.

Please help me make selecting a book easier for my students with these GRAPHIC DIVIDERS.
