Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

At our institution, we are dedicated to empowering our students with the tools they need to excel academically. We are seeking donations for up-to-date graphing calculators to enhance our students' learning experiences.

"Graphing calculators help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts, use higher-level approaches to solving problems, and score higher on assessments." Integrating these calculators into our curriculum will provide our students with essential resources for academic success.

Our goal is to ensure every math student at our school has access to a modern graphing calculator. This will enhance their learning experience and prepare them for college and future STEM careers.

We welcome high school students from local district and nearby areas. Our community school is steeped in the history and culture of our neighborhood, offering a joyful, nurturing environment and a college preparatory education. As a Title I school, we are committed to providing high-quality education to all students.
