Grammar Based Learning

Help me give my students notebooks for keeping grammar instruction organized, labels to keep everything sorted, and storage drawers for our prizes.

My Project

My fifth grade students are amazing writers but they do need more grammar instruction.

The most effective way to teach grammar is through authentic mentor sentences and explicit direct instruction.

I am providing my students with a composition book and label to help them organize their learning. We need drawers to organize our writing utensils, post its, paper clips, staples, etc. I will model the learning in my teacher notebooks and give students an opportunity to practice the new skills in their grammar books. They will use the folders to keep loose papers organized.
