Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my first year, I hope to create a comfortable and functional learning space for 3rd and 4th grade students to access grade level content and work towards individualized goals.

A small rug and seat cushions will create flexible seating options, and increase the number of students who can work in my space at a given time.

It is my hope that students will feel comfortable and be motivated to collaborate at all times and while using these materials. Providing the opportunity for choice--between table seats and cushions on the rug will also give students ownership of their learning experience.
