My Students

When utilizing lap desks, adjustable tables, and stools my students can increase their focus while meeting their sensory and movement needs. They truly enjoy this opportunity within the classroom. It helps guide their learning.

My students this year have a variety of personalities, energies and needs that would greatly benefit from alternative seating within our classroom environment.

Daily, the mood and needs of my students change. Providing them with these options, will allow them to use materials that will support them on that day.

My Project

In my classroom students will have the opportunity to chose different seating options throughout the the day to meet their learning needs. An environment with flexible seating allows for a stress-free, friendly work-zone that maximizes learning and student growth.

By utilizing lap desks, adjustable tables, and stools, students can increase their focus and sit in a space that allows them to meet sensory and movement needs.

Since my students thrive on activity and movement, they are more successful when given different options that support their learning. Many of my students see my classroom as a positive environment that they want to be in.
