My Project

Our International Academy students, all recent immigrants to the U.S., face unique challenges as they navigate a new language, culture, and often, personal trauma. Despite these obstacles, they demonstrate incredible resilience and a deep desire to learn.

These donated resources will significantly impact their learning journey.

Bluetooth speakers will create a calming classroom environment, reducing anxiety and promoting focus. Chromebook chargers will ensure consistent access to essential technology, supporting their language acquisition and other academic pursuits. Dry erase markers and erasers will facilitate interactive learning activities using mini whiteboards, fostering engagement and active participation. Finally, colorful markers will empower students to express their creativity and knowledge through poster projects, a key component of our project-based learning approach.

Our goal is to provide these students with the tools and environment they need to thrive academically and emotionally. What makes our students special is their remarkable strength and determination. They've overcome significant adversity to pursue their education, and we are committed to providing them with every opportunity to succeed.
