My Project

The kids will greatly benefit from having new instruments because our group continues to grow each year. I feel each child should have their own snare drum to perform with, rather than having them to share as we have had to do in the past.

Music is a universal language that everyone understands.

Even though everyone enjoys their brand and style of music, it is always welcomed when there is not much else to do. These kids enjoy the energy playing the drums brings.

Once the kids make the performing group, they are given a particular drum that they are to master as the school year goes on. Once they begin to play, they just get consumed by playing and this carries over into their school work. Hard work leads to improved grades and behavior in the classroom.
