This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a second grade inclusion classroom with a mixture of general education and special needs students in a high needs area in the Bronx. My students are a group of diverse learners, with a wide range of abilities.
Many of my students enjoy being in school and coming into my classroom every day; they see it as a consistent part of their lives.
With their desire to learn and the effort they put forth, these children inspire me every day.
Being a Title I school, the majority of students come from low-income homes, shelters, or homes with limited parental involvement, but they are enthusiastic and come to school every day ready to learn. They see school as a consistent part of their daily lives and love to make me proud. My students are some of the happiest children I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and they inspire me to provide the best education I can for them.
My Project
These ink cartridges will provide color copies for our classroom. We use our printer every day and at this point, our printer is out of ink. In order to motivate our students, printing their projects and classwork gives them a picture of their work in color. This project will allow our students to showcase all their classwork and projects. It is very essential for us to have a printer with colored ink in the classroom. We will also be using the ink to create reading games and different activities in math.
