Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders and I are seeking funding for our "Goodies for Kids" project, which aims to provide rewards and birthday celebration goodies for children in our community. The "Goodies for Kids" initiative is designed to enhance the lives of children by recognizing their achievements and celebrating their special moments. Many children in our community face challenges that can diminish their sense of joy and accomplishment.

By providing rewards and birthday goodies, such as mini drawing boards, mini coloring books, and candy, we aim to foster a positive environment where children feel valued and celebrated.

We have a rewards system established where children can earn goodies for accomplishments such as good behavior, academic achievements, and participation in community activities. We also organize monthly birthday celebrations for children who might not otherwise have the means to celebrate their special day, ensuring that every child feels special and loved. This funding will be allocated to snacks, toys, and school supplies. With your generous support, we anticipate reaching our children in our community each year. By providing these rewards and celebrations, we aim to boost self-esteem, foster community spirit, and create lasting memories for children and their families. We believe that every child deserves to feel celebrated and recognized for their achievements.
