My Project

Most of my students come from low-income homes and can't afford basic hand washing and germ free supplies. I want to help my students not worry about getting sick, not being able to afford tissues, hand sanitizer, basic cleaning supplies, paper towels, and focus on their academics. A lot of the time, their personal hygiene affects their school work and their peers. Their esteem and self image decrease significantly and also being that they are middle school students, they are going through puberty. The counselors teach the students how to use each product correctly. It's tough to have these talks with our students, and I would like to give them basic needs to ease the conversation in and out of school.
