My Students

Students enter my classroom each day knowing that they are the future of the world and it is their learning that will make them the leaders of tomorrow. My classroom is set up with 3D printers and other STEAM tools so that a hands-on, learning experience is incorporated into each class. By the end of the year, I want my students to be at the forefront of STEM education because junior engineers and scientists will be leading the way for the future.

Each student is unique in their own way, which makes learning that much more special.

My students love learning about the ever-changing world of science and are captured by the fact that every day brings new discoveries in science. The school is a welcoming environment that encourages higher-level learning while supporting the students at every step. The school houses over fourteen hundred, middle school students, who come from different ethnic backgrounds. In order to strengthen their learning experience, I want my students to utilize all the possible resources I can provide for them.

My Project

As we are adjusting to a new normal with Covid still very much present, it should not stop students from learning in a clean and safe classroom. With supplies such as a sanitizing wipes, tissues, disinfecting spray and other such cleaning supplies, I will be able to disinfect the classroom each day for our students. With purell wipes, student will be able to clean their hands and desks so that their minds can be put as ease that they are spreading germs.

The fear of being not being safe because of Covid should never be a thought that these adolescents should have.

With these supplies, I will be able to ease our students mind just a bit so they can focus on learning. I want their lives to be as normal as possible, but the reality is we need to step above and beyond to ensure each and every student's safety and health. A clean classroom is a safe classroom.
